For most people, it is so hard to think positively, when everywhere you turn negative things are happening to you. This can make it extremely challenging to say to yourself, “Time to put those good vibes out there”. Positive thinking is not so much about good vibes, as it is about taking a stand against letting negative things effect you and your emotions. We all need to have conversations with ourselves, some a little longer than others, haha. But in all seriousness, self-talk is crucial, and it is all about doing everything in your power to promote a rich and fulfilling life, while being aware of all of your thoughts. Without awareness, you will not even notice your negative thoughts, and therefore, you will not know how to improve upon your thought process. These thoughts can be like second nature to most people, and they can happen so fast, that it can be hard to recognize them. Once you recognize these thoughts, you are one step closer to lessening the burden that it has on your subconscious psyche.
After the recognition of these thoughts, it is now time to replace them with words of encouragement. This dynamic shift will allow you to work on personality quirks that have led you to negative thinking in the first place. This is where the work comes in. Work, work, work, and more work. Once you hone in on the personality traits that are precipitating these negative thoughts, and you have successfully changed them, now you can count on great things to happen to you. These positive outcomes will become gifts from all of the hard work that you are doing at trying to be the best that you can be.
